About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our Early Intervention and Therapy Services team, you will work collaboratively with families to assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans, providing direct occupational therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with families to assess needs and develop intervention plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years
- Work collaboratively with the Early Intervention and Therapy Services team to support consumer needs and service delivery targets
- Participate in monthly graduate meetings for case study review, professional development, and peer support
- Engage in fortnightly supervisions/mentoring sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Tertiary qualified in Occupational Therapy with current and ongoing registration with AHPRA
- Experience working with children aged 0-12 with developmental delay and disability
- Ability to build trusting working relationships with children and families
- Open to continuous quality improvement and ongoing learning and growth
- Current Victorian Driver Licence
- Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe, and accessible
