Occupational Therapist for Children

About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Graduate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention and Therapy Services team, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to children from 0-12 years old with complex disabilities and developmental delay. You will work collaboratively with families to assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans, assisting them in implementing strategies and accessing resources.
Key Responsibilities- Assess children's needs and develop intervention plans in collaboration with families and other team members.
- Provide direct occupational therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years.
- Work collaboratively with families to implement strategies and access resources.
- Participate in monthly graduate meetings for case study review, professional development, and peer support.
- Engage in fortnightly supervisions/mentoring sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Tertiary qualified in Occupational Therapy with current and ongoing registration with AHPRA.
- Experience working with children aged 0-12 years with complex disabilities and developmental delay.
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and other team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage own caseload to meet consumer needs and team service delivery targets.
