About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Occupational Therapist to join our team at headspace. This position will work with students to ensure they can successfully engage and participate in their education through classroom and other school-based activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of students and provide individualized support
  • Teach emotional regulation skills to students and facilitate social skills training and communication skills training
  • Identify sensory processing and/or sensory modulation difficulties and create class implementation plans for teachers to respond to
Requirements
  • Minimum of tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
  • Sound knowledge of current theory and practice in occupational therapy
  • Highly developed listening and communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
