About the Position
  • Allocate staff skill mix to Public Event shift vacancies, guaranteeing operational requirements are met with precision and efficiency.
  • Coordinate rostering of operational employees during major events, ensuring timely deployment of resources.
  • Ensure Public Event shift vacancies are filled according to Award provisions and policies, upholding AV standards.
  • Update and maintain data in Roster system for accurate staff rostering, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Make informed resource decisions and provide specialist advice within AV policies, procedures, and Industrial Awards & Agreements.
About You
  • Possess a degree or relevant industry certification, backed by significant experience in the field.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of operational shift patterns and working environment, showcasing adaptability and resilience.
  • Proven expertise in interpreting and applying Award provisions as they relate to rostering and Enterprise Agreements, highlighting analytical skills.
  • Experience scheduling in a shift work environment, coupled with sound knowledge of rostering systems and processes, showcases efficiency and productivity.
  • Proficiency in using Rostering software, underscores technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems.
  • Developed planning and organizing skills to allocate staff to shifts, ensuring timely and efficient deployments.
  • Well-developed decision-making and problem-solving skills, demonstrate confidence and capability to navigate complex situations.
