Job Description

The role of Sportsbook Trading Risk Analyst is a challenging and dynamic position that requires an individual with excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a key member of the trading team, you will be responsible for analyzing patterns in customer behavior to ensure accurate operational decisions are made. This will involve identifying and minimizing bonus abuse against attractive promotional activities, managing real-time high net worth bet referrals, and working with the trading team to ensure an optimal laying strategy across individual and groups of customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assigning customers to the correct risk cohort, considering all player action across the group.
  • Helping to identify and minimize bonus abuse against attractive promotional activities.
  • Managing real-time HNW bet referrals in a timely and appropriate fashion.
  • Working with the trading team to ensure an optimal laying strategy across individual and groups of customers.
  • Collaborating with sportsbook control to ensure optimal laying and overround strategy across all markets.
  • Managing liability tolerance across sports/events etc across all markets and customers.
  • Analyzing cross-sections of sportsbook trading performance for optimization.
  • Developing proprietary trading and risk algorithms with the quant and data science teams.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, first-class attention to detail, flexibility, and initiative.

They must also demonstrate a keen interest in sports and/or sports betting and a hard-working attitude towards meeting challenges.

We're seeking industry experience and a strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

A deep understanding of customer profiling and behavioral trends is essential.
