About the Role:

The City of Busselton is seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join their team. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for providing recruitment support to the City's business units, coordinating and participating in recruitment activities, and undertaking all associated administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide recruitment support to the City's business units, including coordinating and participating in recruitment activities.
  • Undertake all associated administration, including employee screening and on-boarding.
  • Coordinate training and development activities, including overseeing training applications and assisting in the coordination of in-house training and development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Developing knowledge of human resources practices, including recruitment and training processes.
  • Previous experience recruiting across multiple job disciplines.
  • Highly developed administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, including an ability to engage with people at all levels and build strong, trusted working relationships.

  • Able to work effectively in a busy team environment.
  • Able to use initiative and contribute to process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritise own workload and achieve objectives.
