About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at the City of Busselton. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing recruitment support to our business units, coordinating and participating in recruitment activities, and coordinating training and development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide recruitment support to business units, including coordinating and participating in recruitment activities, completing employee screening, and undertaking associated administration.
  • Coordinate training and development activities, including overseeing training applications, assisting in the coordination of in-house training and development initiatives, and facilitating and supporting the traineeship program.
Requirements
  • Developing knowledge of human resources practices, including recruitment and training processes.
  • Previous experience recruiting across multiple job disciplines.
  • Highly developed administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, including an ability to engage with people at all levels and build strong, trusted working relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
  • Ability to use initiative and contribute to process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize own workload, and achieve objectives.
