Human Resources Officer

About the Role:
The City of Busselton is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join their team. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for providing recruitment support to the City's business units, coordinating and participating in recruitment activities, and assisting with on-boarding and new staff inductions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recruitment support to the City's business units, including coordinating and participating in recruitment activities.
- Assist with on-boarding and new staff inductions, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Coordinate training and development activities, including overseeing training applications and assisting in the coordination of in-house training and development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Developing knowledge of human resources practices, including recruitment and training processes.
- Previous experience recruiting across multiple job disciplines.
- Highly developed administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Developed interpersonal skills, including an ability to engage with people at all levels and build strong, trusted working relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
- Ability to use initiative and contribute to process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritise own workload and achieve objectives.
