Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Public Engagement Specialist. This position will play a crucial part in developing and implementing effective communications strategies that enhance tourism experiences and promote departmental priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high-quality communication plans that engage target audiences and support strategic objectives
Provide exceptional written and verbal communication skills to prepare high-quality documentation, including speech writing, strategic communications, and report writing
Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with a track record of providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders in government or corporate settings
Support digital, visual, and verbal communication delivery with a focus on media engagement and audience-specific messaging

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience in developing and implementing effective communications plans
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
