We are seeking an experienced Certification and Authorization Manager to lead our team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to take your career to the next level with development opportunities and exposure across multiple project rollouts.

You will be responsible for defining the Certification & Authorization strategy of vehicles, including budget planning through the development of the Certification & Authorization management plan during tender and project execution phase until the end of vehicle delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining Certification & Authorization KPIs and reporting on activities progress
  • Managing tender/project regulations requirements baseline (e.g. TSIs, National Rules) and supporting the engineering team to ensure consistency with the contract
  • Conducting proper identification, understanding, and validation of regulatory requirements necessary to get regulatory certification(s) and/or Authorization (s)
  • Managing modifications and configurations of certified/authorized vehicles with independent assessors and authorizing entities until the end of vehicle delivery or according to contractual arrangements

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Engineering, Masters preferable, knowledgeable of Industrial Engineering, relevant experience in engineering projects, good experience with MS Office, analysis/KPI preparation, Certification processes (railways, automotive,aerospace), Quality management, and desirable-Project Engineering skills.

**Job Requirements:**
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in Certification and Authorization Management
Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
