Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in the field of employment law.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing applications made under Victoria's Fair Jobs Code, providing recommendations and authoritative advice on assessment processes.
Main Responsibilities- Assessing applications for a Fair Jobs Code pre-assessment certificate from suppliers and businesses, and providing recommendations regarding applications.
- Maintaining awareness of developments in employment law legislation to inform assessment processes and application recommendations.
- Collaborating with the Manager, Assessments, on the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and testing of the Fair Jobs Code pre-assessment certificate portal and Salesforce-based CRM.
This role is part of the Industry Development, Construction, Manufacturing, and Talent branch within the Industry, Trade, and Investment group. We work closely with businesses locally and globally to grow Victorian jobs, drive innovation, and increase Victoria's international competitiveness.
The position forms part of the broader industry development agenda, working closely with other teams to shape and ensure the delivery of the Victorian Government's policies and initiatives.
