
Rocket Production Maintenance Expert

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of advanced machines and equipment used in rocket and spacecraft production.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of technicians in daily repairs, preventative maintenance actions, and complex continuous improvement projects to maximize asset availability.
- Manage weekly workload distribution and technician task assignments to optimize efficiency.
- Triage incoming maintenance requests from internal customers and effectively resource manage priority workload with available resources.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for parts acquisition, asset documentation standards, training, and on-site maintenance actions.
- Develop and implement root cause analysis reports to identify learning opportunities and improve maintenance performance.
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in a maintenance or field-work environment.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team, including project management and people leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in asset management software.
- Experience managing budgets and contracts.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with various teams.
This role requires strong technical expertise, effective leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability and efficiency of the Starship production site.
