Job Description

This position requires a skilled welding manager to oversee the production process of rocket engine hardware.

The selected individual will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, overseeing the assembly and integration of production assemblies, and ensuring the quality of welds meets the highest standards.

They must have experience with gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), or gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and strong leadership skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience in welding management
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Experience working at SpaceX is highly desirable
  • Ability to effectively communicate with engineering and production teams

Additional Requirements
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, extended hours, and/or weekends as needed
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to travel for short and extended trips as needed (up to 10%)
