Job Title:

Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

 

  • The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance activities at a production site to ensure maximum asset availability.

  • This involves maintaining and troubleshooting advanced machines and equipment required for rocket and spacecraft production.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technicians in daily repairs, preventative maintenance actions, and complex continuous improvement projects.

  • Manage weekly workload distribution and technician task assignments, triage incoming maintenance requests, and resource manage priority workload with available resources.

  • Work with vendors for parts acquisition, asset documentation standards, training, and on-site maintenance actions.

  • Be a subject matter expert in equipment maintenance troubleshooting, project management, team key performance indicator analysis, and high-level people leadership.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or have 4+ years of experience in a maintenance or field-work environment.

  • Have 2+ years of experience leading a team, including leading projects and people.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work independently with little direction, meet deadlines, and effectively communicate with teams.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and perform physical tasks like standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying.

  • Be willing to work at elevated heights and in tight spaces.

  • Be prepared to work long hours, nights, and weekends with limited notice.
