About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team at Iress. As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in helping our customers get the most out of our software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to internal and external clients across the full software development lifecycle
  • Analyse and develop requirements, and turn them into results by configuring new products and features within the software
  • Assist with configuration, scripting, testing, and documentation for superannuation administration systems and supporting systems
  • Work closely with clients to identify areas of process improvement and best practice
  • Ensure that all client deliveries and interactions adhere to the highest quality standards
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant software analyst/engineering experience
  • Technical skills with SQL, Java, Python, or any other programming language
  • Experience in a similar business or systems analyst role in the Australian financial services industry
  • Practical experience with superannuation technology systems
  • Experience with Acurity will be highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Understand and have experience with version control systems such as Subversion
  • Relevant qualifications in I.T., superannuation, or accounting will be highly regarded
