About the Role

The City of Whittlesea is seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team at the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre (PRACC). As a key member of our technical crew, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of a wide range of technical equipment, with a primary focus on lighting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the technical setup, including lighting, stage machinery, and special effects.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth execution of events.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in advanced systems like Riedel Bolero, Allen & Heath dLive, and GrandMA3.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in theatre technology, particularly in lighting. You should be adept at troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a live environment and have a commitment to safety and precision in your work.
