Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager or Interior Designer to lead the development of innovative design strategies for Transport's workplaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating interior design standards that support hybrid ways of working, promote collaboration and productivity, and enhance the workplace experience for all employees.

This role will involve working closely with the broader Design Team to create and maintain design standards that align with Transport's strategy and employee needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, qualifications in Interior Design, and previous experience in commercial workplace design with a focus on hybrid ways of working.

The Design Manager or Interior Designer will be responsible for leading the creation of design standards, engaging with IT and technology teams on the integration of new technologies into the workplace, and providing strategic design solutions that ensure Transport's workplaces meet the changing needs of the workforce.

  • Lead the creation of interior design standards to support hybrid ways of working

  • Provide strategic design solutions to align with Transport's strategy and employee needs
  • Manage external designers and other professional service consultants directly
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Interior Design
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial workplace design with a focus on hybrid ways of working
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders to effectively present proposals relating to design solutions
Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 9A ($142,178) - 9E ($159,238) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
