About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Program Manager to join our team at the Australian Signals Directorate. As a key member of our Business Continuity & Facilities Branch, you will play a critical role in delivering fit-for-purpose infrastructure, facilities services, business continuity, and emergency management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership to project activities, ensuring the successful delivery of facilities and accommodation projects.
  • Manage or contribute to the day-to-day running of a site or group of sites within a region or community precinct, ensuring optimal facilities management and maintenance.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes, building strong professional relationships and communicating effectively with a variety of audiences.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and the positive growth and development of fellow team members, supporting the implementation of project and change management strategies.
  • On-site quality management of project deliverables, ensuring facilities are delivered in accordance with the statement of works and all security requirements are met.
  • Manage or contribute to the relocation of ASD officers affected by projects, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Project management of minor facilities and accommodation projects, such as office fit-outs and refurbishments, working collaboratively with contractors, project staff, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to planning, financial, procurement, contractual, and operational requirements of projects, interpreting and complying with business processes and legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.
