About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Manager to join our team in Adelaide. As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of facilities management services to a national telecommunications client with multisite operations across South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Key Account Manager in the delivery of facilities management services to the client.
  • Manage a team of field staff, including contractors, to ensure the delivery of services to the client.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client representatives.
  • Ensure risk identification and control, incidents, and tenant/client/customer issues are managed as per agreed processes.
  • Perform regular site inspections and document findings.
  • Manage incidents and restore sites to normal conditions.
  • Ensure allocated budgets are adhered to.
  • Liaise with the Asset Management team and National Call Centre to manage subcontractor activities.
  • Ensure activities meet ISS's and client quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a tertiary education in facility management, business administration, or project management.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Managed a multi-disciplinary workforce.
  • A sound understanding of operations and maintenance in telecommunications or a technical service industry.
  • Risk management approach to building management.
  • Ability to self-manage, work cooperatively, and have a flexible approach to function effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate with confidence and respect for others.
  • Proven ability to use own judgment to effectively manage workloads, take responsibility for, and prioritize tasks.
  • Interstate travel required from time to time.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
