Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities?

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Community Engagement Support Workers.

The successful candidates will work with clients in their homes and communities, assisting them to reach their individual goals through meaningful and fun activities. This may include supporting with daily personal hygiene and dressing tasks, performing home-based tasks such as food preparation and housework, undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping, and ensuring a varied program of social activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and are able to develop positive relationships with clients.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, be physically fit and active, and have the ability to acquire a Working With Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

You will also require first aid training, although this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily personal care and hygiene tasks
  • Support clients with meal preparation and household chores
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities in the community
  • Develop and implement client-centered programs to promote independence and engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and provide regular reporting to management
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Physically fit and active
  • Ability to acquire Working With Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First aid training (desirable)
