Heavy Equipment Technician

The role of a Heavy Diesel Fitter involves the maintenance, repair and servicing of large-scale mobile mining equipment. This encompasses a wide range of tasks including routine checks and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily inspections on heavy earth moving equipment.
- Performing major rebuilds of mobile fleets, including CAT trucks and excavators.
- Advanced breakdown and failure diagnostics on equipment.
- Mobilisation of fleets into and between projects.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent.
- Valid Australian Drivers licence.
- Valid Australian Citizenship or visa.
- Post-trade experience in maintenance, diagnosis and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
