Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of maintenance personnel in the field, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, providing hands-on support and mentoring to maintenance personnel, and liaising with production and planning departments to prioritize work and minimize equipment downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • G1, G8, G9 formerly (S1, S2, S3) and G2 supervising certificates
  • Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or equivalent heavy vehicle mechanic qualification
  • Proven experience in a leading hand or senior field maintenance role within a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Strong working knowledge of large-scale mining equipment and field maintenance practices
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • High level of commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Current driver's license and ability to work a rotating roster
