Heavy Equipment Repair and Maintenance Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to perform thorough repairs and routine maintenance on heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and prolonging its lifespan. As a skilled mechanic with experience in rebuilding mobile mining equipment and/or components, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results.

In this position, you will work closely with our Workshop Supervisor and other technicians to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. You will also provide support to our customers across the region, helping them to maintain their heavy equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing thorough repairs and routine maintenance on heavy equipment
  • Rebuilding mobile mining equipment and/or components

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Close attention to detail and ability to meet set deadlines
