About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Heavy Haulage Equipment Technician to join our team in Newman, Western Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on our heavy haulage equipment, ensuring it remains safe and operational.
You will work closely with our operations team to identify and address any issues that may arise, and provide technical guidance and support to your colleagues. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex problems will be essential in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and experience working with heavy mobile mining equipment. You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance and repairs on the electrical systems of heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Using diagnostic tools and software to identify electrical faults and malfunctions.
- Managing spare parts for maintained equipment from on-site or off-site warehouses.
- Contributing to safety compliance and adhering to OH&S standards in a mining environment.
- Supporting a positive, team-oriented and safety-focused work culture.
