Job Description

The role of Data Governance Technical Lead is pivotal in advancing the university's data-driven strategy by establishing and leading a comprehensive data governance framework. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, security, and accessibility of institutional data across domains.

Critical Responsibilities

  • Establishing data standards, stewardship models, and governance structures that align with institutional goals and compliance requirements
  • Improving data quality and consistency across systems such as student information systems (SIS), HR, and Identity platforms
  • Implementing processes for data cataloguing, lineage tracking, metadata management, and automation-driven data quality improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and master data management (MDM). Expertise with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) including Data Quality, Catalog etc. Proficiency in data profiling, lineage tracking, cataloguing, and business glossary creation.
