Data Governance Technical Lead

Establish a comprehensive data governance framework to ensure the accuracy, integrity, security, and accessibility of institutional data across domains.

The Data Governance Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in advancing the university's data-driven strategy by defining data standards, stewardship models, and governance structures that align with institutional goals and compliance requirements.

  • Develop and implement processes for data cataloguing, lineage tracking, metadata management, and automation-driven data quality improvement.
  • Ensure data privacy and security policies are aligned with regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).
  • Expertise with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), including Data Quality, Catalog etc.
  • Proficiency in data profiling, lineage tracking, cataloguing, and business glossary creation.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations relevant to higher education.
