Trust & Foundations Associate

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that supports the management of major gift donor portfolios, conducts market research and identifies funding opportunities.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience in a technical, administrative or philanthropic setting with a strong track record of achieving ambitious financial targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to lead purposeful, outcome-driven conversations.

As a Trusts & Foundations Associate, you will maintain accurate donor engagement data in the CRM and ensure alignment with Deakin's philanthropic policies and strategic objectives. You will also represent Advancement at internal and external events, demonstrating leadership through awareness of best practice and emerging trends in philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of major gift donor portfolios
  • Conduct market research and identify funding opportunities
  • Maintain accurate donor engagement data in the CRM
  • Represent Advancement at internal and external events
  • Develop and implement coordinated donor strategies

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience in a technical, administrative or philanthropic setting
