Senior Project Engineer
Description:You will work in our project delivery team to deploy, configure and support mission-critical software for the power grid. This role involves working with customers to define project requirements through effective communication and application of engineering and product expertise.
- Define project requirements with customers
- Pass on requirements to other departments
- Design, build, integrate, test and commission power utility SCADA systems
- Perform testing and resolve identified issues during factory and site acceptance testing and regression testing
- Assist troubleshooting and continual improvement of capabilities including local staging and IT infrastructure
- Provide technical expertise to sales and solutions engineering teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field with over 3 years of experience in the electric utility industry
- Strong technical background in automation and computers with knowledge of C/C++, Python, relational databases, HTML and XML
- Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems for troubleshooting
- Ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, reporting and planning skills
- Genuine interest in technology and improvement
