Water Quality Framework Specialist

At WaterNSW, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Water Quality Framework Specialist. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in the development and implementation of drinking water quality management systems.
Job Description:- To lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Water Quality Management System (WQMS) frameworks to meet business requirements and comply with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG).
- Provide specialist technical advice and support across WaterNSW to deliver water quality management policies, strategies, plans, and standards and produce reporting required under the Water Quality System and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the delivery of assurance activities (such as system audits & system health checks) of the WQMS and processes to ensure continued compliance with the Water Quality Policy and Operating Licence(s), including management oversight of external consultants delivering co-sourced internal audits.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who has significant experience working in the development of supporting and/or implementation of documentation related to drinking water quality management. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of ADWG and other NSW regulatory requirements for the management of potable water supplies.
Key Responsibilities:- Fully develop and implement comprehensive Water Quality Management Systems within the enterprise.
- Prepare reports and briefs to stakeholders regarding the performance and status of Water Quality Management Systems.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and key personnel to foster collaboration and awareness of water quality issues.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, coupled with significant industry experience in drinking water quality management.
We offer a competitive salary of $144,550 - $173,475 base + superannuation benefits and a range of perks including flexible working arrangements and professional development opportunities.
