Job Title: Disabilities Support Specialist

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. HOME CARE NURSING SERVICE PTY. LTD. is seeking a skilled Disabilities Support Specialist to join their team in a full-time role, working 38 hours per week.

About the Role:

  • Support individuals with disabilities by assessing their needs and finding resources to meet those needs.
  • Assist people with disabilities by identifying their challenges and creating personalized support plans.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients to understand their goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate community needs and identify potential resources to support individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in a relevant field, such as disability services or social work.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related role, or 3 years of experience may substitute for formal qualifications.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Empathy and compassion when interacting with individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
