Course Development Manager Job Opportunity

This role is a key member of the educational development team, working in close collaboration with academic leaders, program directors, and subject-matter experts to ensure the delivery of world-class MBA courses.

  • Oversee the quality, relevance, and innovation of MBA courses and manage the development of new offerings.
  • Provide expert advice on curriculum design, assessment, and learning strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and external standards.
  • Support adult learning and contemporary pedagogy across multiple modes.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that enhance the student learning experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification with extensive relevant experience, or equivalent competence through education, training and experience.
  • Experience in managing quality programs and initiatives in an academic setting, including planning, delivering, reviewing, prioritising, and handling multiple projects under pressure.
  • Extensive experience in educational design and development for adult learning.
  • Ability to advise and support staff on the design of student-centred, active learning experiences in multiple modes.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality detailed work and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including instructional design capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to foster and manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Australian copyright law and understanding of intellectual property and academic integrity.
  • Understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values, and related policies and guidelines.
