Job Summary

Campus Academic Program Managers oversee and lead the academic delivery of programs for Community Services students on campus, ensuring coordinated program execution, quality teaching, and effective student support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage academic quality and delivery of the Bachelor of Community Services program, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality learning materials, ensuring they are current, accessible, and meet academic standards.
  • Deliver teaching, assessment, and student consultations for relevant subjects, leveraging expertise to drive student engagement and success.
  • Foster positive relationships with community, government, and professional organizations, promoting collaborative partnerships and opportunities.
  • Mentor and coach lecturers and field placement coordinators, driving their growth and development.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with all relevant academic and regulatory frameworks, mitigating risks and ensuring program integrity.
Key Requirements:
  • A postgraduate degree in social work, community services, or an equivalent area of expertise.
  • Full membership or eligibility for full membership of the Community Work Australia (CWA).
  • Knowledge of contemporary developments in the community services sector, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration.
  • Advanced problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities, driving strategic decision-making and program innovation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of accreditation requirements and the Code of Ethics of Community Work Australia (CWA), ensuring program alignment and compliance.
