As a key member of the child protection unit, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases of child abuse and neglect, as well as providing support and guidance to families and communities.
Your strong sense of social justice and understanding of complex family dynamics will enable you to develop effective plans to ensure the stability and development of children and young people.
\Key Accountabilities\- \
- Critical Assessment and Reflection: Engage in risk assessment and analysis, case management, reporting, and reflective practice to ensure best outcomes for children and young people.\
- Engaging Others: Collaborate with children, their families and support networks, as well as other practitioners and services, to share knowledge and provide effective service delivery.\
- Delivering Results: Problem solve, make informed practice decisions, deliver improvements, and manage budgets to achieve best outcomes.\
- Transport children, requiring a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.\
- Complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.\
