
Empowerment Through Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a Full-Time Permanent Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee area.

We empower customers by supporting them to build independence, identify and achieve goals, engage in activities of daily life, and encourage genuine connections within the community, fostering a relationship built on mutual understanding.
This role provides psychosocial supports and works in partnership with people living with mental ill-health to live and recover within the community in the way they want to.
Dedicated Peer Workers bring lived experience, empowerment, system navigation, and hope and realness to support individuals in their recovery journey.
Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with customers to develop individualised support plans, providing support to improve independence, and keeping customer records up to date.
About YouWe're looking for someone with a positive, authentic, inclusive personality who brings their whole self to work every day.
A strong set of values guides your work, incorporating organisational values of passion, integrity & respect.
You'll require great computer skills, a minimum Cert IV in Peer Work, or equivalent industry experience as a Peer Worker, and a valid NSW Class C driver's licence.
