About Us

At CHL, our primary goal is to create safe, secure, and affordable housing options that empower individuals and families to thrive. You are organised, a team player, and committed to building healthier, stronger communities.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups.
  • Cultural competency and sensitivity, particularly when working with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
  • Ability to engage with individuals, families, and groups through events, outreach, and conversations.
  • Active listening, empathy, and the ability to provide appropriate support and referrals.
  • Organisational and time management skills to plan and prioritise work.
  • Ability to document engagement activities, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills to support colleagues and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Digital literacy to use communication platforms, maintain records, and support reporting.
  • Commitment to providing accurate and current community information.

Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
