Team Lead Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding and supporting the team to deliver person-centered support, helping clients build confidence, develop skills, and secure meaningful sustainable work.

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for mentoring and supporting a high-performing team, driving results, and fostering growth. They will ensure the ongoing development of their team members to build a deeper understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions. The Team Lead will translate program guidelines into high-quality, compliant service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.

They will guide clients into meaningful work through trust, empathy, and personalized support. The Team Lead will build strong employer partnerships and promote inclusive hiring practices. They will monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and lead by example. Additionally, they will champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) - desirable
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
  • Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
  • Current Driver's License - essential
