Job Description

The role of Sports Assistant is a vital position within our institution, where the successful candidate will assist teachers and staff in the Sport and HPE Department. This entails supporting various sporting activities and maintaining our esteemed facilities.

To achieve this, the incumbent will work under the direction of the Head of Sport, Joint Facilities Coordinator, HPE staff, and the College Leadership Team to maintain college sporting facilities, including sport equipment and sport fields.

This role requires an individual who demonstrates initiative and can complete designated tasks with minimal supervision, highlighting their self-motivation and ability to work independently.

Key aspects of this position include:

  • Maintaining high standards in sports facilities, equipment, and grounds.
  • Providing support to the Sport and HPE Department as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess certain skills and qualifications. These include:

  • Holding a valid Working with Children Blue Card.
  • Demonstrating full support for the ethos of Catholic Education.
