Key responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering expert legal guidance on AFSL/ACL licensing, Chapter 7 of the Corporations Act, DDO, breach reporting, claims/complaints handling and unfair contract terms.
  2. Advising on consumer credit laws and obligations, including responsible lending, hardship, disclosure and remediation.
  3. Providing regulatory insight in corporate M&A and fundraising contexts, particularly for financial services.
  4. Assisting fintechs and payment providers in navigating the evolving regulatory perimeter and licensing landscape.
