Workforce Planning Specialist

The Workforce Planning Specialist will play a key role in shaping the future of our university's workforce. The incumbent will aggregate and analyze UTS-wide workforce data, aligning faculty and divisional workforce plans with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing workforce data to inform staffing needs.
  • Modeling and forecasting workforce requirements.
  • Collaborating with Strategic Business Partners (SBPs) and managers to ensure the right people are in place at the right time.
  • Ensuring workforce plans comply with university design principles, characteristics, and governance processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in workforce planning, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience with workforce analytics and HR information systems - preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and HR analytics tools.

Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $117,282 to $133,572 per annum (HEW 8)
  • 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to base salary
  • Full-time (1 FTE) continuing position
