Job Title: Strategic Workforce Planner

This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective workforce strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People Planning Strategy: Develop and implement people planning strategies at the unit level, ensuring alignment with localised principles and guidelines.
  • Staffing Optimisation: Manage the full function of store staffing optimisation processes, from forecasting to schedule execution.
  • Adherence to Employment Standards: Ensure adherence to IKEA's employment standards and legal requirements relating to People Planning.
  • Vacancy Management: Collaborate with Unit recruiting teams to ensure vacancies are filled with appropriate contracts and availability.
  • Process Improvement: Identify improvements in unit people planning processes and escalate potential deviations.
Working Together:

The People & Culture team supports the delivery of key initiatives by working with all business functions and co-workers in store. This pivotal role lies in securing the co-worker experience, supporting leaders, and equipping teams for a better everyday life.
