Job Description\

As a strategic leader in retail crime prevention, you will be responsible for designing and delivering cutting-edge crime prevention strategies across stores, eCommerce, and supply chain. You will work closely with a skilled investigations team to identify, investigate, and disrupt retail crime offenders. This role involves overseeing key platforms used to detect internal fraud and eCommerce-related threats, utilizing intelligence and analytics to inform decision-making and drive coordinated business-wide responses that protect people, customers, and operations.

\Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute crime prevention initiatives aligned to business priorities and risk appetite.
  • Analyze enterprise-wide crime trends and emerging threats, recommending targeted mitigation strategies.
  • Optimize and govern Profit Protection platforms to ensure best-in-class detection and prevention.
  • Collaborate with Investigations, Legal, Law Enforcement, and operational leaders to reduce financial exposure and shrink.
  • Guide covert security strategies, manage external providers, and track performance against budgets and KPIs.
  • Provide senior leadership with predictive analytics and commercial cases to inform investment decisions.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and taskforces to strengthen national crime disruption efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications\

This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with BI reporting, SQL, Excel, and data systems is highly desirable. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas) are essential. A strong background in retail crime prevention, fraud, or investigations (3–5 years) is also necessary. Additionally, an advanced understanding of Auror and experience with APPRISS are highly desirable.
