Retail Crime Prevention Specialist

Job Overview:

We are a diverse team that powers two iconic brands, driving the success of our stores, distribution centers, and offices worldwide. Our influence touches almost two million customers every week, providing daily impact to your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute crime prevention strategies in line with business priorities and risk management.
  • Analyze global crime trends and emerging threats, recommending targeted mitigation techniques.
  • Optimize Profit Protection platforms (Accertify, Auror, Appriss) for best-in-class detection and prevention.
  • Collaborate with Investigations, Legal, Law Enforcement, and operational leaders to minimize financial exposure and shrink.
  • Guide covert security strategies, manage external partners, and track performance against budgets and KPIs.
  • Provide senior leadership with predictive analytics and commercial cases to inform investment decisions.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and taskforces to strengthen national crime disruption efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in retail crime prevention, fraud, or investigations (3–5 years).
  • Advanced understanding of Auror is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in BI reporting, SQL, Excel, and data systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience with APPRISS is highly desirable.
  • Ability to identify risks quickly and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience partnering with law enforcement and external partners.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases and measure return on investment.
  • High-level understanding of criminology, privacy obligations, and fraud trends across retail and eCommerce.
