Job Opportunity: Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Bunbury. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with NDIS participants and their families to identify needs and develop positive behaviour support plans.

  • Evaluating and developing evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment is crucial for this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies aligned with the positive behaviour support framework.
  • Collaborating with participants, family members, and carers to ensure individual plans reflect their needs and aspirations.
  • Mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners as part of our multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements:

  • Current suitability at Core, Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential.
  • Significant experience providing support to individuals with behaviours of concern is necessary.
  • A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional is desired.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills are required to manage a varied caseload.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector is vital.
