We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Bunbury. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with NDIS participants and their families to identify needs and develop positive behaviour support plans.
- Evaluating and developing evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment is crucial for this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies aligned with the positive behaviour support framework.
- Collaborating with participants, family members, and carers to ensure individual plans reflect their needs and aspirations.
- Mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners as part of our multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements:
- Current suitability at Core, Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential.
- Significant experience providing support to individuals with behaviours of concern is necessary.
- A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional is desired.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills are required to manage a varied caseload.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector is vital.
