Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in the Bunbury region. This role involves providing therapeutic support to NDIS participants and their families, with a focus on developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans that make a meaningful difference.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a complex support environment and be committed to eliminating restrictive practices in the home and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Planning: Providing assessment and person-centred planning to identify the needs of NDIS participants and their families.
  • Plan Development: Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
  • Goal Setting: Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support framework.
  • Collaboration: Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
