We are hiring an experienced, motivated Senior Technical Capacity Management Specialist to oversee IT Service Management processes, ensuring successful deliverables from respective leads, and governing Capacity Management across the organization.
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Capacity Manager. You will have a robust background as an SME in Capacity Management, integrated implementations across the entire software delivery lifecycle, thrive in fast-paced environments, and communicate effectively at leadership levels within the organization.
You will be a proactive leader with a strong background in IT Service Management and Capacity Management. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments. Have a proven track record of managing service transitions, minimizing risks, and ensuring seamless capacity management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governance and Strategy:
- Govern IT Capacity Management across the organization.
- Review and approve Capacity Management strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Advocate and guide teams on the best IT Capacity management best practices
- Risk Management and Issue Mitigation:
- Minimize risks and manage issues by controlling risks of failure and business disruption across the organization.
- Oversee defect management governance aligned with the SEO Risk Management Framework.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with capacity management and forecasting.
- ITIL certification.
- Strong in SQL Server scripting, PowerShell, Excel macros and Splunk.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management.
- Experience in conducting process audits.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
