We are hiring an experienced IT Capacity Management Specialist to oversee IT Service Management processes, ensuring successful deliverables from respective leads, and governing Capacity Management across the organization.
About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Capacity Management Specialist to have a robust background as an SME in Capacity Management, to thrive in fast-paced environments, and communicate effectively at leadership levels within the organization.
Key responsibilities:
Governance and Strategy:
- Govern IT Capacity Management across the organization.
- Review and approve Capacity Management strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Advocate and guide teams on the best IT Capacity management best practices.
Risk Management and Issue Mitigation:
- Minimize risks and manage issues by controlling risks of failure and business disruption across the organization.
- Oversee defect management governance aligned with the SEO Risk Management Framework.
Qualifications:
Essential criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with capacity management and forecasting.
- ITIL certification.
- Strong knowledge in SQL Server scripting, PowerShell, Excel macros, and Splunk.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management.
- Experience in conducting process audits.
Desirable:
- Advanced understanding of IT Service Management processes and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments.
- Extensive experience in integrated implementations across the software delivery lifecycle.
