">- The role of the Compliance Advisor is to support the delivery of risk initiatives and activities for the Digital Insurer Program, ensuring compliance with Group Risk and Compliance Management Frameworks, Policies and Standards.
About the Role
">The Compliance Advisor will work closely with Business Risk and Business Compliance teams to ensure a common understanding of all portfolio Compliance Risks & Activities. They will identify regulatory and legislative change impacting insurance and provide recommendations for change.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Provide compliance advice and insights for the Digital Insurer Program, including leading the support for the development of artefacts such as assessments and due diligence requirements for change initiatives and projects.
- Identify regulatory and legislative change that will impact insurance and provide recommendations for change.
- Support changes within the Digital Insurer Program of work are compliant against Suncorp Policies and Procedures, State Scheme Statutory Regulators, APRA, ASIC, General Insurance Code of Practice, and any other relevant laws and requirements.
- Highlight issues, breaches, and opportunities, working to ensure the business achieves its potential for delivery of the Digital Insurer Program of work.
Requirements
">- Relevant degree in Law, Business, Commerce, or related field.
- Qualification in risk compliance management, corporate governance.
- Minimum four (4) years of appropriate industry experience in General, Life or Personal Injury Insurance.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience within Compliance related business area(s).
- Minimum two (2) years of experience providing advice to multiple Programs and Projects.
