Staff Wellbeing Advisor

As a Principal Staff Wellbeing Advisor at Legal Aid NSW, you will play a crucial role in shaping and leading our health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives across the department. You will provide direct support to staff working in NSW public schools and workplaces, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative strategies to enhance staff wellbeing, including the development of programs and services to support staff mental health and resilience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school leadership teams, executive, and other key stakeholders to provide expert advice and case management support.
- Collaborate with the team to identify future training needs and develop solutions to uplift capability in supporting staff wellbeing.
Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as education, business, management, or social sciences.
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience in developing and implementing programs to enhance staff wellbeing in schools.

- Strong coordination and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities, with a focus on building trust and rapport with staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to remain resilient and composed in high-pressure situations, with a focus on providing support and guidance to staff.
