About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team at the University of South Australia. As a key member of our Safety and Wellbeing team, you will be responsible for providing generalist WHS, Wellbeing and Injury Management advice at a business unit and campus level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing WHS, Wellbeing and Injury Management advice to business units and campuses
  • Supporting the Safety and Wellbeing team in the development and implementation of Safety and Wellbeing Local Action Plans
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to promote a strong health and safety culture

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification and/or previous experience in work health and safety at a business level or working at Unit level to coordinate or implement S&W Local Action Plans
  • High level interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated written and analytical skills and experience in preparing reports and recommendations
