The Event Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional experiences for guests. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate conferences, meetings, weddings, and other special events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute the delivery of events with attention to detail and a focus on quality service.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and meet guest expectations.
  3. Develop and train staff to provide warm and friendly service, promoting a positive workplace culture aligned with our values.
  4. Support the Food & Beverage department across various outlets, ensuring a high standard of service and food quality.

Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated understanding of event operations and customer service principles.
  2. Previous experience in hospitality or event management, with a focus on team leadership and service excellence.
  3. Able to communicate effectively and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
  4. Strong administration skills and proficiency in computer software; experience with MICROS or Simphony POS applications is advantageous.
  5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with unlimited work rights in Australia.
  6. Hold RSA and RMLV certificates.
